Breitling Exospace B55 Connected Watch

During the 2015 Baselworld Watch & Jewellery Show, we first launched Breitling’s then prototype connection device, the Breitling B55 Connected Watch. A few months later, Cheap Breitling Replica Watches modified the original concept in some obvious ways and made us the first to launch the final version of the product. We are here to introduce you to the specific details and hidden features of the high-tech hybrids we know about quartz timing and wireless connectivity.

The Breitling Exospace B55 Connected watch features the “SuperQuartz” movement – which we will introduce later – and is designed to connect timepieces instead of simple smart watches. Connected with a smart watch – what is this all about? Well, these are relatively new categories, and if you are still confused about them, you will not feel sad. Smart watches, such as Apple Watch or TAG Heuer Connected, use large digital screens instead of analog pointers to display detailed information and complex screens. On the other hand, the connected watch communicates with your phone, sends and receives data, including notifications, health tracking, and what we will see in the case of the Breitling Exospace B55, enabling you to control your watch with your app. Mobile phone – but it is mainly a watch instead of a computer.

So how does Breitling Exospace B55 Connected adapt to this situation? The Breitling Exospace B55 Connected is an improved version of the Breitling cockpit B50. It is run by Breitling’s super nerd, a truly impressive in-house high-tech “SuperQuartz” movement, where you can find all the relevant information. The “SuperQuartz” inside the B50 and B55 allows for analog display time and two additional displays on the dial and is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The Breitling Exospace B55 Connected carries all of this and tries to take it to the next level by adding this already beautiful smart watch to your smartphone to add functionality.

At the time of the watch release, Jean-Paul Girardin, vice president of Breitling Replica Watches, showed us the demonstration of the watch and its connectivity. Since Girardin demonstrates some of the features of the watch – including my favorite, this is a dual time zone setting that allows you to switch the watch back and forth between two time zones with the push of a button – obviously the company’s engineers have travelers And of course the pilot. I appreciate its simplicity, referring to Girardin’s words, “Using the new Bluetooth connectivity technology to improve user friendliness, and of course the functionality of the product, this is pure logic.”

When it comes to pilots, there is also a live celebration of the Best Breitling Replica Watches brand ambassador and former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly (we have interviewed here), and the personal excitement of the new watch is obvious. Interestingly, his favorite watch function is actually a “tilt function” dial backlight, which he explains is especially useful for fighter pilots and other members of the armed forces. It works by allowing the wearer to activate the backlight by pulling the fast tip of the wrist down more than 35 degrees.

Kelly said: “It is key to be able to check the time, not to sway in the dark cockpit and remove the hand from the controller.” “Also for fighter pilots, it is possible to clearly read the time at any given moment.” Beyond the need to know the time, it helps to calculate the distance and range in critical situations. It is important to have a watch that can help simplify and speed up the process.”

Both men believe that this new attempt at smart watch games is a key move of Breitling Replica, and he has a historical relationship with the development of aviation technology in the field of mechanical watches. In addition to the new in-house manufactured SuperQuartz movement, the application itself was developed in-house in Switzerland.

The complete list of features is of course much longer as it includes: Breitling Calibre B55 internal manufacturing, COSC certified, thermally compensated SuperQuartz movement; analog and two backlit digital time indications, including a second time zone display, which can be pressed by pressing a button Hand exchange; weekly display of perpetual calendar; 7 alarms per day; 1/100 second chronograph; Coordinated Universal Time (UTC); Countdown/Timer (or MET task time consuming); Flight time chronograph; Single lap chronograph Table; electronic speedometer; battery replacement indicator.

In terms of watch design, the new Breitling connection watch features a 46 mm large titanium case, water-resistant to 100 m / 330 ft, a one-way bezel and a front sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. In addition to the bright sky blue rubber strap, the first thing you notice is that this watch is very lightweight and stylish. As a woman, my wrists are of course smaller, so even if the watch makes my wrists dwarf, it is actually very comfortable and easy to wear like a small watch. Looking closely, it seems that the reason is that the lugs are shortened accordingly compared to many large 41 mm or more watches – so even if the dial is large, it can be more properly attached to the wrist than other wrists of the same diameter.

The dial is equipped with two digitally backlit displays and a set of centrally mounted analog hands – one advantage of the B50 design is that the two do not compete with each other for attention. Since the Basel demonstration, Fake Breitling Watches has done a good job of changing and cleaning the surface of the watch. The dial has lost the WiFi logo, and the bezel now features a tone etch instead of the previous white number. The result is a more stylish design without sacrificing legibility. The bottom digital window displays the time, and the top window provides smart technology notifications, such as incoming email and caller ID notifications, that are synced to the phone via Bluetooth.

In addition to sending email/text/call/reservation notifications via Bluetooth, the watch also has 7 alarms with various ringtones or vibration settings for other notifications. All components of the analog display can be controlled and managed by the application, making time zone switching, global time synchronization adjustment, visual mode or chronograph function a seamless one-button process. Jean-Paul and Mark both told me that the goal is to make it easier for everyone to use the functions of complex mechanical watches without breaking the long manual.

Traditional chronograph functions are also updated with new connection technology, as timing data can be controlled or even stored by the watch and then synced to the application for inspection. The new feature of Breitling Exospace B55 is a complete data management system that can perform various measurements such as flight time, record up to 50 time-sharing events, lap times, electronic speedometers, etc. Developers can even use it. Further programming enables the export and sharing of fully formatted data excel files by pressing a button.

As a brand tradition of aerospace instrument manufacturers, the watch is able to record the “Block and Time” or Mission Elapsed Time function – using the watch’s countdown/countdown chronograph to record the specific ability of the task from taxi to touchdown without pilots Manually record the details of the flight report.

So, again, what is the power of all these high-tech observations? The new movement of the new Breitling Exospace B55 Connected, called Calibre B55, runs on a rechargeable battery. As far as I know, it takes about a month and a half before charging. As mentioned above, the basic movement is shared with the Breitling cockpit B50, which they call the SuperQuartz ultra-precision movement. Not only is it COSC certified, but it also has thermal compensation, which means it can be adjusted to the external temperature to make the quartz regulator more precise, so that the motion is accurate to a few seconds per year.

I am interested in the concept of this smart watch. Unlike other “smart watches” that attempt to copy mobile phones or computer technology in watches, Breitling chose to focus on enhancing the organic and natural features of the watch. Tell and measure the perfect time. At the heart of Breitling Exospace B55 Connected is a true timing instrument, rather than trying to create a wrist-worn computer that just happens to be time-consuming, which may just make it one of the few smart/connected watches to satisfy the interest of traditional fans. Clocks.

Breitling has positioned the Breitling Exospace B55 Connected watch more as a connected version of the B50 cockpit than a stand-alone smart watch or connected device. This means that unlike the TAG Heuer Connected watch, even if you choose not to use the connection function, it can be theoretically independent. Interestingly, the price premium for the Breitling Exospace B55 and the Breitling B50 cockpit (approximately $6,600) is only a few hundred dollars for the 1,500 Heuer Connected TAG Heuer Connected. The 46mm Breitling Exospace B55 Connected is priced at $8,900.
